This winter, explore the beauty of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem that extends beyond the reach of Jackson Hole.  Immerse yourself in the natural world where you not only see the wild beauty, but you'll feel the invigorating frosty air fill your lungs and you'll smell the piney incense of subalpine firs.  On top of enjoying a voyage through some of the most beautiful landscapes the west has to offer, you will view wildlife track and sign as well as be on the lookout for a variety of amazing animals native to Yellowstone National Park, and you'll learn about their unique ecological roles in the region.

What's Included
Private transportation
A picnic lunch, sourced locally with seasonal ingredients and packaged with recyclable and compostable materials. If a picnic lunch is not available, we will make a stop at a local restaurant.
Use of UHD binoculars and spotting scopes
A light breakfast, including muffins, fruit and juice.
A variety of snacks, sourced locally and organic when possible.
Use of snowshoeing equipment
Purchased locally and provided in recyclable aluminum bottles, to reduce plastic waste.

What To Expect

Teton Pass
Teton Pass connects the communities of Wilson, WY and Victor, ID and crosses the Teton Range at an elevation of 8,431 feet at its highest point, providing views to both valleys.

Victor, ID is a rural Idaho town of approximately 2000 people, located on the western side of the Teton Range.

Island Park
Island Park is located outside of Yellowstone National Park. The community itself is quite small, but the surrounding geography is notable for the region - a caldera, formed by the same hotspot that also formed the Yellowstone Caldera.

West Yellowstone
West Yellowstone is the gateway city to Yellowstone National Park at the west entrance. It's a small town in Montana with a population of approximately 1200 people, offering limited services and amenities.

The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center is a non-profit wildlife education facility in West Yellowstone, MT.
