Overview

Yakima Valley is known as the hop capital of the world. Take part in a hop and beer experience and visit family hop farms that have been in the Yakima Valley for generations. Learn about the history of hops and the French-Canadian families who have been farming for over 120 years.

Little Hopper Tours and Rooted Yakima Valley present the Yakima Valley's first Hop Farm and Sensory Experience.

Visit family hop farms, tour a hop processing and production facility, and walk among the hop vines. Through hop sensory activities, you will learn about different hop varieties and understand hops' role in brewing great craft beers. Just like brewers from around the world, you will rub hops in the hop selection room and taste beers produced from the farms' hops.

Fresh with the knowledge and appreciation of hops, Little Hopper will shuttle you to one of Yakima Valley's award-winning breweries for a look beyond the taproom.
