The Historical Society of Palm Beach County (HSPBC) is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing the region’s rich history and cultural heritage. Founded in 1937, the Society maintains a vast archive with over four million photographic images, maps, newspapers, and more, documenting Palm Beach County's diverse history. The Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum, established in 2008, showcases this extensive collection, spanning at least 12,000 years of local and regional history. The Society’s educational programs in schools and communities foster an appreciation for local history among youth, ensuring that the stories of the past continue to inform and inspire future generations.
