What To Expect
1
Las Vegas
On the way to the park our expert guide will tell you all about the Mojave Desert and the adventure we're embarking on. There will be plenty of snacks and water for our journey. Unlike other tours we take you on a few trails, each offering its own unique story from ancient petroglyphs, to a movie set left from a 1965 film, to a Southern Paiute outlaw who used this trail as an escape from the law. On your adventure you'll learn about the deep red Aztec sandstone that makes up the park, along with the plant and wild life - hopefully we'll see a majestic bighorn sheep or even a herd! After conquering the Mojave Desert we'll have a cooler full of ice-cold, local craft beer for you to enjoy. *Note: This is a sample itinerary and can change based on the group's experience*
2
Valley of Fire State Park
As we are getting closer to Valley of Fire, we will get off of the highway and begin a scenic drive through the Mojave Desert. We'll make a quick stop at the Valley of Fire sign for some photos before making our way into the park. We'll continue into the park where you'll learn about the oldest and largest state park in Nevada.
3
Atlatl Rock
Take a step back in time as you make your way up a sturdy staircase to view 4,000 year old petroglyphs etched into the Atlatl Rock. See depictions of humans, animals, and the way of life as lived by some of the oldest ancestors of the land. What story will you see?
4
Fire Wave
The main hike of our tour is a custom trail combining two of the best trails in Valley of Fire, clocking in at about 3 miles (4.8 km). We’ll see the famous Fire Wave, slot canyons, pastel canyon, insane views of the park, and more.
