Overview
We stop at a quaint store in the canyon and replenish our coffees and snacks then we travel 17 miles into beautiful Oak Creek Canyon to the overlook. Up there we might find some local Native American traders and excellent picture taking amongst the beautiful Ponderosa Pine of Northern Arizona.
Your guide will point out interesting areas and answer questions on any subject about Sedona i.e., dining, hiking, Native American history and Sedona’s unique heritage etc. then back to Sedona on a beautiful winding mountain road to another Native Market. Then back to where you started whether we picked you up at your hotel or at our shop.

What To Expect

Oak Creek Canyon
With sweeping mountainscapes and a well travelled mountain road, we take you to an Indian market, a famous jewelry store, and to the top of one of the most pictuesque places on the planet. Round trip it’s about a 40 mile ride. The overlook is in the middle of a large Ponderosa Pine forest and lots of pictures to take. The guide will tell you about historic facts and native vegetation all the while driving next to beautiful Oak Creek, one of the most protected waterways in the US. Lots of fly fishing and beautiful estates along the shaded ride into the canyon. Getting an early start we can really capture what it was like when the pioneers found this place, A small number of families settled the canyon and their stories are fun to hear.
