Overview
Discover the spirit of New Orleans as we tour iconic landmarks and neighborhoods that tell the story of the city’s incredible rebirth following Hurricane Katrina.

Our New Orleans tour will pass through two beautiful neighborhoods, the French Quarter and Faubourg Marigny, both known for their architecture styles and vibrant music scenes that, thanks to their position above the Mississippi River, were spared from the 2005 storm’s floods. Among other neighborhoods known for music culture, you may be familiar with Tremé, where you’ll discover artists who called this neighborhood home as well as the site of beloved live music joint Ernie K-Doe Mother-in-Law Lounge.

Many musicians’ livelihoods were affected by Katrina, and we’ll have a chance to reflect on this tragedy and lives lost at the Hurricane Katrina Memorial.

After a tour stop at the levees breached during the storm, you’ll have a fuller picture of the city’s struggles and successes following one of the nation’s worst disasters.
