A special private group tour of majestic Mt. Rainier National Park, one of the finest parks in the country!

We offer specialty chocolate bars and good snacks.

This is not a typical crowded van tour experience but a comfortable and pleasant experience. It will be a more personal and comfortable day on Mt. Rainier.

Mt. Rainier is an active volcano, meaning it will likely erupt some day, but not on the day of your tour!

We will decide which parts of the mountain most interest you.

We can drive up to Paradise Lodge (5,400 ft elevation) and take a hike to explore the surrounding area and take in the view.

Twin Firs trail

We will make a food and rest stop at a national historic town called Elbe, which has specially painted old train that runs on the weekends.

What To Expect

Seattle
Driving through Seattle and the suburbs, taking in the view of Mt. Rainier, Lake Alder, and through small towns into the foothills of Mt. Rainier.

Mount Rainier National Park
Inspiration Point is a great view and photo opportunity showing the mountain vistas of Rainier.

Mount Rainier National Park
We drive to Paradise lodge (elevation 5,400 feet). From the Lodge we take a 1-2 hour special guided hike along the wonderland trail. We will reach viewpoints of Mt. Rainier depending and depending on the group interest we can hike to waterfalls. Animals we may see include: Marmots, Deer, birds. Flora we may see: Douglas Fir trees, Pine trees, wildflowers, mushrooms, lichens, moss.

Twin Firs Loop Trail
Twin Firs Trail is our first stop in Mt. Rainier National Park. You get a taste of being around the some original old growth forest.

Christine Falls Viewpoint
Christine Falls is the most memorable waterfall viewpoint because the bridge was purposefully built to have the waterfall set behind it. The falls are named after one of the first people to climb Mt. Rainier.

Narada Falls
Narada falls is formed from volcanic rock. On many days the misty falls forms a nice rainbow. We have the option to take a short hike to get a better view of the falls.

Reflection Lakes
Reflection Lakes are an ideal alpine lake set with the background of Mt. Rainier on a clear day.

Elbe
We will drive to Mt. Rainier, making a stop at a special bakery in the foothills of Mt. Rainier. We will enjoy special chocolate samples, snacks, and cools drinks along the way. We will decide which parts of the mountain most interest you.

Seattle
We return to Seattle, enjoy the views along the way.
