Overview
There is so much more awaiting you off the Charleston peninsula! Here is your opportunity to take a small group, 1/2 day tour (8 or less) in my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter. This tour has something for everyone, while we visit the most picturesque spots outside the limits in the Lowcountry. Get your dose of lighthouses, beaches, piers, forts and endless history. You will quickly understand how important the Charleston area is in American history, while taking in the ocean breeze.

First, we travel to Folly Beach to visit the lighthouse, beach and pier. Next, a drive through historical Citadel Military college. Then, on to Sullivan's Island, and to stroll the grounds of Fort Moultrie, out to the beach, and the best view of Charleston from the water. Finally, the lighthouse.

I am a city certified tour guide that takes you outside the limits!
There are walks on this tour, and includes beach dunes.

What To Expect
1
Morris Island Lighthouse
We will walk a short, interesting road to the end of this island to get a beautiful vista of Charleston Harbor and the 6th oldest lighthouse in the US. The walks is 1/4 mile, and does include some beach and sand.
2
Folly Beach Fishing Pier
Once the amusement park Mecca of the 50's, Folly Pier is the focal point of this beach surf town, with many tourist activities. A souvenir and rest room stop also.
3
The Citadel
We will take a drive around this photogenic, famed military campus and stop for a few Snap! Shots.
4
Fort Moultrie
The history of the colonial United States lies at this tour stop. Thousands and thousands of imported African slaves stopped here in quarantine houses during the forced trek to North America. The first naval battle of the Revolution, the first shots of the Civil and the most tranquil beach spot in Charleston -- is all here. If time permits, we will visit the National Park visitor center.
5
Sullivan's Island Lighthouse
We will stop and see the ugliest lighthouse in the US.
