Overview
The Navajo Nation is the largest federally recognized Indian Tribe in the United States of American covering a geographical area of about 17,544,500 acres (71,000km2; 27413 square mile). The Navajo Nation is actually a sovereign nation with in the United States.
The Dine culture, language, and traditions are still practiced today by many of the Navajo People. Horseback riding is a big part of our culture, even used in many of the marriage ceremonies and healing ceremonies.

One of the early settlers, Mr. Manson Yazzie (1886-1976) lived and grazed his livestock in vicinity of Waterhole Canyon. Loom Rock and Horse Bend area on a seasonal basic until he passed away in 1976.
Mr. Manson Yazzie's family continues to live in this area practice Dine traditional way of life, they maintain horse, and other various livestock on their lands.
